I have always been interested in psychics. I may not have had the courage to go to one yet (slightly afraid of hearing something I don’t want to), but I know some friends and family members who see one all the time!

Instead of having my future told, I’ve found some amazing pieces of jewellery from a psychic turned jewellery designer, Mairead. She is a naturally gifted psychic and healer who has devoted many years to working with healing energies and has over 11 years experience as a powerful healer and clairvoyant.

As a child she was always fascinated with beads and crystals, and has now integrated her healing and psychic energy work within the jewellery crafting process by channeling powerful healing and abundance into each piece of jewellery she makes. The gemstones natural energy vibration is enhanced to bring about positive and increased energy for the wearer.

Fans include Jemma Kidd, who is often seen out wearing the delicate pieces.

I’m a huge fan of Mairead’s new design, The Alchemy. It’s a beautiful piece. The necklace is extra long and delicately made with 18ct gold and precious multi Tourmaline in a rainbow of colours and beautiful sky blue Topaz gems. You can also detach a section to create a smaller necklace and bracelet, or separate the two necklaces to wear both together with one laying just beneath the other and even spiral the long chain around your wrist or ankle!

CRED Jewellery, a fair trade jeweller has launched it's brand new website today. The beautiful CRED jewellery is made from recycled silver and ethical and fair-trade 18ct gold and platinum.


There are some beautiful pieces on the website. I particularly love this Kolibri Multi drop pendant, £3,600 designed by Sophie Harley. It's made from 18ct Yellow Gold and is beautifully accented with stunning amethyst, teal sapphire and fine natural ruby.

Friday 2nd October saw Portobello Road being taken over by 5 girls, covered in black paint, wearing nothing but a tiny bikini, jewellery and holding a handbag. They walked up the famous road in Notting Hill and went on to get onto the underground, no doubt causing a bit of a stir...

It was all in aid for the launch of Boticca- an accessories only ebay-style website. You can buy unique, hand crafted and exclusive jewellery, or if you fancy yourself as a bit of a jewellery designer, you can sell your creations online.
